The Econex VSARP520C 3/4" Single Solenoid Valve - 500mbar is another model in the VSA series of gas safety solenoid shut-off valves, characterized by its high-pressure functionality and compliance with safety norms. Like its counterparts in the series, the VSARP520C is designed for the automatic control of gases from the first, second, and third family and can be adapted for air on request. This valve is part of a range that is approved according to Norm EN 161 and manufactured in accordance with ATEX rule 94/9/CE for Zone 2 and 22 (II 3G – II 3D).
Key features of the Econex VSARP520C include:
- The valve body is made from die-cast aluminum, ensuring durability and robustness.
- It features threaded connections, specifically Rp 3/4 according to EN10226.
- The valve is suitable for inlet pressures of 1, 3, and 6 bar.
- It offers a rapid opening/closing time of less than 1 second.
- The valve can operate in ambient temperatures ranging from -20 to +60°C.
- Various supply voltages are supported, including 230V ac, 110V ac, 24V - 12V ac and dc (with certain diameter limitations).
- The frequency range of the valve is 50 - 60 Hz, with 50 Hz for the 24V ac variant.
- The valve comes with an IP 65 enclosure rating, highlighting its suitability for different environmental conditions.
- It has a supply voltage tolerance of -15% to +10%.
- Designed for continuous duty cycle, it ensures consistent performance over time.
Additionally, this valve type is normally closed for continuous and cyclic operation, opening when the coil is powered and closing quickly in the absence of tension. The coil is encapsulated in PA resin for added protection. The valve also features pressure test points at the inlet from both sides, and optional accessories such as a limit switch, max. flow adjustment, and rapid stroke are available.

How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us, which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. If you haven't received your order within two days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please get in touch with us at sales@comtherm.co.uk with your company name and order number.
Refunds and Returns
We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return.
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at sales@comtherm.co.uk with your order number and a photo of the item's condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution
