Fan Impellers
(49 products)
All burners are fitted with an Impeller. The Impeller serves to supply air to the burner which is subsequently mixed with the fuel (Gas or Oil) and then ignited to create the flame. Impellers vary in design, but the most frequent type used is Squirrel cage impellers (see image below).
Although Impellers are made from metal, they do sometimes require replacement. A build-up of dirt can damage the fins, meaning the airflow is impaired. Occasionally the damage to the fins or the build-up of dust can affect the ‘balance’ of the fan, meaning replacement is recommended.
If you are looking for a replacement fan impeller, please supply us with the following details:
- Outer diameter
- Number of fins
- Motor shaft diameter (internal)
- Keyway size (if applicable)
- Burner model (serial number if possible)
Using the details above, we can quote for a replacement burner fan.
