Econex VSARP540C 1.5" Single Solenoid Valve - 500mbar
The Econex VSARP540C 1.5" Single Solenoid Valve - 500mbar is a part of the VSA series of gas safety solenoid shut-off valves, designed for high-pressure applications. These valves comply with the Norm EN 161 and are manufactured in accordance with the ATEX rule 94/9/CE for Zone 2 and 22 (II 3G – II 3D). They are apt for the automatic control of gases belonging to the first, second, and third family, and can be adapted for air use upon request.
Key features of the Econex VSARP540C include:
- The valve body is constructed from die-cast aluminum for strength and durability.
- It features threaded connections, with this particular model having Rp 1. 1/2 according to EN10226.
- The valve is designed for inlet pressures of 1, 3, and 6 bar.
- It has a quick opening and closing time of less than 1 second.
- Suitable for operation in ambient temperatures ranging from -20 to +60°C.
- Various supply voltage options are available, including 230V ac, 110V ac, 24V - 12V ac and dc, although not all sizes support all voltage options.
- The valve operates within a frequency range of 50 - 60 Hz, with 50 Hz specifically for the 24V ac model.
- It is rated with an IP 65 enclosure, indicating a high level of protection against environmental factors.
- The valve has a supply voltage tolerance range of -15% to +10%.
- Designed for a continuous duty cycle, it ensures reliable, long-term operation.
Additionally, like other valves in this series, the VSARP540C is normally closed for continuous and cyclic operation. It opens when the coil is powered and closes quickly in the absence of tension. The coil is encapsulated in PA resin. The valve includes pressure test points at the inlet from both sides. Optional accessories for this model include a limit switch, maximum flow adjustment, and rapid stroke.
These features make the Econex VSARP540C 1.5" valve a robust and efficient choice for gas flow control in various industrial and commercial applications.

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. If you would like to collect your order, please select collection at checkout, and your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within one hour.

How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us, which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. If you haven't received your order within two days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please get in touch with us at sales@comtherm.co.uk with your company name and order number.
Refunds and Returns
We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return.
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at sales@comtherm.co.uk with your order number and a photo of the item's condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution
