Econex VSARP515C 1/2" Single Solenoid Valve - 500mbar

The Econex VSARP515C 1/2" Single Solenoid Valve - 500mbar is part of the VSA series of gas safety solenoid shut-off valves. These valves are high pressure, approved according to the Norm EN 161, and manufactured in compliance with ATEX rule 94/9/CE for Zone 2 and 22 (II 3G II 3D). They are suitable for the automatic control of gases belonging to the first, second, and third family and can also be used for air upon request.

Key features of the Econex VSARP515C include:

• Valve body made of die-cast aluminum.
• Threaded connections Rp 1/2‹Å“2 according to EN10226.
• Suitable for inlet pressures of 1, 3, and 6 bar.
• Quick opening/closing time of less than 1 second.
• Can operate in ambient temperatures ranging from -20 to +60°C.
• Available supply voltages include 230V ac, 110V ac, 24V - 12V ac and dc (not available for all diameters).
• Frequency range is 50 - 60 Hz, with 50 Hz specifically for 24V ac.
• The valve features an IP 65 enclosure rating.
• Supply voltage tolerance of -15% to +10%.
• Designed for continuous duty cycle.

Furthermore, the valve is normally closed for continuous and cyclic operation, opening by powering the coil and closing quickly when there is no tension. The coil is encapsulated in PA resin, and the valve is equipped with pressure test points at the inlet from both sides. Optional accessories include a limit switch, max. flow adjustment, and rapid stroke.
